Sam had a good night with his "ad lib" feeding. That means he is eating every 3 hours, but he eats as much or as little as he wants. The doctors want to make sure he will eat enough on his own. Only at one feeding did he not really take as much as he should have, so we'll see what the doctor has to say about that. They did not put the feeding tube back in, so that was good news!
He just had a head ultrasound to check for intra-ventricular brain hemorrhage. Not that we think he has one, but it is standard for all babies born before 34 weeks. The tech can't give an official diagnosis, but she sees no cause for concern.
