Last night at his 2 am feeding, Samson took 19 ml of his 48 bottle, and at his 8 am feeding he did 21 ml, so we are getting there. The nurse we have today is very persistent at getting him to eat and showed me some good tips - this is the first time I've been able to get him to take a decent bottle from me since last weekend. We also figured out he is biting on the nipple and collapsing it, making it impossible to get anything, so every once in a while, I have to take the bottle out of his mouth and get him going again. We'll see at his 2 pm feeding if we can get some consistency going!
He's also in a crib now, which means I get to snuggle up with him whenever I want! Maybe the big boy bed will inspire him to eat like a big boy!
