Hunger Strike

Samson is apparently on a hunger strike, which is frustrating after he started off so well. Part of the issue may be his bilirubin levels, as babies with jaundice tend to be lethargic and not want to eat. We tried a new bottle, and that didn't seem to help any

= (

His bilirubin count did go down from 11 to 7 this morning and the nurse said he is looking a lot better, so hopefully as the day goes on, he will perk up a little more and start eating.

Gavin is being such a good kid, I was a little worried when he was acting up on Sat when they picked me up, but he has been such a good kid since then, a little sad because he just wants to see his baby, and he can't be in the NICU until he is 5. He's also slept in his own bed the last two nights!

Congratulations!! I am so happy for you. Sounds like Samson (cool name by the way!) is doing extremely well. Over 5 1/2 lbs at only 34 weeks - WOW. Can't wait to see pictures!
